Tuscany Walking is based in Barga which is on the edge of the Garfagnana National Park, a little known corner of Tuscany. The region is one of traditional living and is set amongst some of the most spectacular scenery that Tuscany has to offer.

With English and Italian guides (English is spoken on your walks) we will help you to get the most out of your walking holiday in Italy.

Tuscany Walking accommodation is a welcoming, family run agriturismo in Tiglio a tranquil spot near Barga which offers a very high standard of hospitality and comfort with beamed rooms decorated in the traditional style of Tuscany and a wonderful swimming pool, which is perfect for relaxation your walks.

Eating is a very important pastime here in Italy.

Dinners on walking days will be taken in Barga where you will be able to eat local dishes from the Garfagnana and the region using seasonal fresh local produce.

Lunches are picnics using local traditional recipes, fresh focaccia and with fruits of the season.

In this unspoilt region we have the Garfagnana National Park, Orecchiella Park and the Apuane Alps. We believe there is something to offer all of our guests whether it's the exhilerating views of the area, sleepy hill-top villages or chestnut woods where you can see and hear how life in this part of Italy was once lived.
